Kirstin (aka Foxy), lead vocal / enchanting keys player with just a bit of flair
Likened to a fox because of her Liske pedigree she can humble the rowdiest concert goer into a state of head banging paralysis. Foxy, often misidentified as Claire Dunphy from Modern Family, is a blackbelt in the martial art of Jazzercise which sounds benign but is actually lethal requiring her to carry a licence. She plays the keys, shaker, cowbell, tambourine, sings, and prefers your puns intended. Her self professed super power is perfect pitch karaoke that is never flat, but sharp.....like a knife.
Alec (aka Twangy Fingers), lead vocal / git box plucker
Armed with a guitar and a twinkle in his eye, Alec's musical journey is like a tumbleweed rolling through a one-horse town—unpredictable, slightly dusty, and always entertaining. Alec's first guitar was a hand-me-down from his Uncle Earl, who claimed it was haunted by the ghost of a blues legend. Whether that’s true or not, Alec swears it whispers chord progressions in his sleep. He learned to play by strumming along to the sound of cicadas on hot summer nights.
Fun Fact: Alec once played a gig at the annual Corn Festival. The crowd went wild during his rendition of “Sweet Corn Serenade.” They threw corn cobs instead of roses. It was messy but oddly heartwarming.
Quote: “Life’s like a fretboard—sometimes you hit a wrong note, but you just slide to the next one and keep jammin’.”
Gerrit (aka “The Groove”), the infamous bassist from the town of CR, has been plucking strings and hearts with his infectious rhythms and larger-than-life personality. Born with saltwater in his veins and a bass guitar in his hands, Gerrit’s journey to musical stardom is as unpredictable as a rogue wave.
Legend has it that Gerrit learned to play the bass by serenading the local dolphins, who would only perform their synchronized swimming routines to his funky grooves. His unique style, a blend of underwater funk and beachside rock, has earned him a reputation as the “Aquaman of Bass.”
When he’s not jamming with his band, “Sound Factory,” Gerrit can be found hosting impromptu beach concerts for the local crabs and seagulls, who are his most loyal (and loudest) fans. His signature move? Playing a solo while riding a surfboard, proving that he’s not just riding the waves of music but literally surfing them.
Gerrit’s performances are a tidal wave of fun, leaving audiences soaked in laughter and awe. With a bass line as deep as the ocean and a sense of humor as refreshing as a sea breeze, Gerrit “The Groove” is making a splash in the music world, one hilarious note at a time.
Jon (aka Goose), drummer / backup vocals
Voted most Fly member of the band, Jonathan keeps his operating system up to date with the latest hair and fashion advice from TCP/IP magazine. An avid salmon fishing enthusiast, he regularly smokes his fish by performing accented paradiddle triplets at 240 BPM, creating a succulent cedar drumstick smoke. Did we mention the hair? Joey from Blossom summed it up perfectly, "Woah! This rhythmist is the engine that drives this band and will leave you tip tap slapping in your sleep." He does sign autographs.
